Due to our current success and growth, we’re looking for one Senior Recruitment Specialist to join our team , in our Candidate Search Division, at our Cape Town offices.

This is a role for which we need equally talent-obsessed professionals who can help Status continue to develop and grow.

We take our specialization even further and focus on finding the top talent for our clients in specific skills-sets and job-functions in these two industries, which you can see more about in our infographic here:




In this role, we apply talent acquisition best practice and executive search methodology in order to find the right talent for our corporate clients, whether we are finding them the right BPO Team Leader or Workforce Manager and the right Cost Accountant or Financial Manager.

This means that you’ll be required to become an expertin finding top local talent and then matching it our client’s vacancy job-profile.

Ideally, you’ll be someone whom specialises in finding the right candidates for our corporate clients in the BPO/Contact-Centre and Financial Services sectors, although if you currently work in recruitment or manage people outside of these sectors, then we’ll help you become an expert in our specialist sectors.

You becoming evermore well informed about the BPO/Contact-Centres or Financial Services industry will be a necessary part of your becoming an expert Recruitment Consultant at Status.

  • Must either: 1. Have previous experience and a proven track record of successful recruitment experience and expertise OR 2. A minimum of 3-years of experience in a management/Team Leader level role (if you aren’t an experienced recruiter already).
  • Preferably, previous experience in the BPO & Contact-Centre industry or in the Financial Services industry.
  • Must be computer literate (MS Office), numerate (especially for performance reports), with good spoken and excellent written English.
  • Must have Matric, while a relevant tertiary qualification is preferable and highly beneficial.
  • Must have a proven track record and aptitude for applied self-development and continuous professional learning and development.
  • Must be super smart, self-motivated, hardworking, results driven, with a bucket load of ambition and a ‘can do’ attitude.
